Interview with drummer Dom

Loopy drummer, Dom, is no stranger to the recording world.  His former band The Chesterfields recorded 3 albums, including Crocodile Tears, in the late 80s. He is a Very Nice Man.

He was interviewed after his first Booster8 recording session.

Back to school

Venue:  Winchcombe School

Present: Dom, Eg, Fea, Smash

Ran through the Booster8 album without stopping.

Amazing how much more focussed one is when one has spent the last year recording, editing and mixing the songs.  It's also a bit baffling as to why we still can't play them faultlessly after such intense year-long scrutiny.

Ran through some new songs too.  Eg unwittingly sat under a poster depicting a character called 'Edgar'.  Oh how we laughed (*straight face*).  And promised that we would take a picture of the moment.

We didn't.

In the pub afterwards we drank a toast to Tom.

Loopy Interview with Saxophonist Ed Kershaw

During the recording of the Booster8 album, saxophonist Ed Kershaw kindly took time out to lend us his talents. He uses the word topolino and he used to drive a garden shed. Check it.

There's more to life than laughter lines and loopy
